Softball 2026

Registration for the 2026 Softball season is open Monday January 19th and will close Sunday February 22nd.

KYAA is pleased to announce that it will be offering registrations for the following age groups:

6U

8U

10U

12U

Ages are determined by your athletes age on or before September 1 2024.

6U- Cost $85

This age group is instructional and typically scores or standings not are kept. Goals are to develop fundamental skills and a love for the game. Coaches pitch to minimize downtime and to allow maximum at-bats and plays in the field. The intent is to keep the game moving to provide maximum reps for everyone. Players rotate to all positions.

8U - Cost $120

This age group is instructional and typically scores or standings not are kept. Goals are to develop fundamental skills and a love for the game. Machine pitch. The intent is to keep the game moving to provide maximum reps for everyone. Players rotate to all positions.

10U- Cost $120

This age group is instructional and scores are kept. Goals are to develop fundamental skills and a love for the game. This age group develops pitching. The players are allowed to pitch however there are no walks. Coaches will assume pitching duties once ball 4 is thrown to minimize downtime and to allow maximum at-bats and plays in the field. The intent is to keep the game moving to provide maximum reps for everyone.

12U- Cost $120

Players move to a larger ball 12 inches vs 11 inches (10U) and there is no longer coach pitch. Goals are continue to develop skills, love for the game and to prepare players for other organizations to continue their softball journey.
